David Kinyua is the Project Manager at Trees for Kenya; an NGO focused on agroforestry and tree planting projects in Kenya. He joined Trees for Kenya in 2020 and has a background in Agriculture and Biotechnology, having completed a Diploma course in these fields from Bukura Agricultural College. Under his management, Trees for Kenya works with smallholder farmers primarily in Embu, Kiambu, Kirinyaga and Tharaka Nithi counties, aiming to enhance livelihoods, improve soil health, and promote sustainable agroforestry practices that include planting fruit, shade, and medicinal trees among farm crops.
