Modern solar dryers have been put up to solve the problem of post-harvest losses. It also demonstrates energy conservation, maximizing on green energy innovatively. Fodder such as calliandra and azolla are dried in a separate dryer from where human food such as cassava, arrow roots, moringa oleifera and mangoes are dried.
