Personal Statement

I have been working with Trees for Kenya since the year 2012 promoting sustainable land use through application of various agroforestry techniques with farmers.  I have also worked with communities bordering natural forest to restore degraded forest lands and also sensitizing community members on importance of taking care of their forest as a source of livelihoods through forest products like beekeeping, fruit collection, fodder leaves , gums  and fishing activities. Beside that, i have supported school greening programme which plants trees in schools.
