Greening Schools
We engage schools through tree planting exercises which help them share knowledge on the importance of trees to conservation. While planting on school property, our organization designs school programs that encourage both continued conversation andconstant effort to promote environmental conservation. Our programs donate various tree species to schools to be cared for by the students. The trees provide shade, protect schools from strong winds and create habitats for birds. These birds become working members of the ecosystem they inhabit. They pollinate and aid in the control of insects and rodents. As birds help disperse seeds, they bring new life to damaged areas. Our natural resource programs not only bring students and teachers together, but planting activities also bring community members together in the celebration of trees as community asset.
